Barnes & Noble founder builds new homes in Orleans | KATC Lafayette News

The founder and chairman of the Barnes & Noble bookstore chain has committed to building 100 homes in New Orleans' Gentilly neighborhood, which was badly flooded when levees failed during Hurricane Katrina in 2005.

According to Mayor Mitch Landrieu's office this will be the second group of 100 homes being built and furnished for Katrina victims by Project Home Again...
