The Real Davis by Davis Rogan

Say what you will about Davis Rogan, human being. He can take it. In fact he doesn't give a bleep. But fess up and give the man his musical dues. Rogan has lovingly crafted a compelling musical and lyrical odd-yssey, from the reluctant rebirth of a city to the depths of his own personal frailty. In person or in his music Davis can't help expressing himself. He is larger-than-life and loaded with character flaws, and all that comes through on the CD. Love him, as I do, or not, you must admit that the guy is giving his all, raw and unfiltered. The world could stand to have a few more artists, and I mean this in the capital "A" sense, of Rogan's caliber, might and murky majesty.
