12 Places to Not Watch the 2019 Super Bowl - [Eater New Orleans - All]

It may be harder than not to find this year’s game

January 20, the Sunday that will live in infamy, is still just about the only thing anyone can talk about in New Orleans. And on what is typically one of the busiest days of the year for bars and pubs, at least a dozen spots are offering customers a safe haven from this year’s Super Bowl (February 3), instead airing the Saints’ 2010 championship game, highlights from the 2009 season, and the Puppy Bowl.

In addition to the list below, the Boycott Bowl music festival will shut down Fulton Street from Girod to Lafayette Street and feature a host of New Orleans musicians (Choppa included), and food and drink vendors from noon to 10 p.m., and there’s even an official parade in the French Quarter to mourn the untimely ending of the Saints season. Did we miss a bar’s boycott party? Send us an email.
