Wind Advisory [ Local Stories]

Coastal flood advisory posted at Noon Friday through 3 PM Saturday. Tides will increase 1-2 feet along the coast thanks to strong onshore flow. Wind Advisory posted 6 PM through 3 PM Saturday. Winds 15-25-35 mph. Rainfall amounts look to be 1/2 inch to just over an inch. The squall line will move quickly through the area.

It's a good idea to pick up anything in your yard that could become a projectile, and also trim weak branches that could hit your home. Keep in mind strong west winds will develop as squall line moves through. This could be a problem for high profile vehicles traveling on elevated roadways. If you live in a mobile home, there is the potential for tornadoes and high winds. It's a good idea to go into a sturdy structure during around 8 AM- 1 PM, or until the squall line moves through your area.

Power outages are likely as this squall line moves through.
