Rain chances Sunday [ Local Stories]

Temperatures will not cool much overnight. We will have a bit of a breeze which will mix up the atmosphere. Lows will be in the mid 60s to low 70s. Some light patchy fog is possible, but it will more likely be a cloud deck thanks to the wind.

The Mississippi River is now 15.33 feet. It is forecast to crest at 16.5 feet April 9th. The high river is mainly a concern for navigation and docking. There are 30 minor seepage points.

A warm front will move north across the area Monday with some showers. A cold front will move across the area Tuesday with a higher rain chance. There is the potential for some storms, but that chance is more to our North near Jackson, MS. Cooler and drier air will move in for Wednesday.
