Former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin has asked the Republican National Committee (RNC) to remove her name from an official invite to a New Orleans fundraiser scheduled to be held next week. According to reports, Palin's staff has twice asked the party to remove her name from the invitation, and they also insisted that the request had nothing to do with the nightclub controversy currently making headlines.
