Entergy wants to keep nuclear option in Louisiana | Reuters

In a release, Entergy, of New Orleans, said it has not decided to build a new reactor but wanted to keep the option available to remain in the running for any federal incentives that may be available.

Entergy relocating 200 workers from New Orleans to Jackson | KFDM News

Entergy is moving about 200 of its transmission workers from New Orleans to the Jackson area.

Entergy Mississippi spokeswoman Mara Hartmann said more than half the workers have arrived in Jackson, but others will move to the area into 2010.

Entergy agrees to delay Louisiana pet-coke plant | Markets | US Markets | Reuters

Entergy Corp's (ETR.N: Quote, Profile, Research) Louisiana utility said Thursday it has agreed with the state regulator to delay the $1.8 billion Little Gypsy repowering project for at least three years as cheaper natural gas and uncertainties surrounding coal-fired plants have hurt the project.

The fire knocked out power to a few feeders from Iberville Street to Conti Street, Rampart Street to Decatur Street and the Hotel Montelone -- 800 customers were without power.
