At 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 3, the starter’s pistol will sound and the annual Crescent City Classic will begin at Jackson Square. The CCC is a 10K race -- a 6.2-mile course that will take runners, walkers and wheelchair participants through the streets of New Orleans to City Park where a post-race party will be held. Most of the participants will be expected to finish the race in 2-3 hours.

Who Dat? Inc., the company that made a 1983 recording featuring the "Who Dat" chant associated with the New Orleans Saints football team, has filed a trademark infringement lawsuit against the Saints organization, the National Football League, the State of Louisiana and the Secretary of State. The suit claims that those parties have either directly or indirectly violated the company's trademark.
